That's Swannys missus. She is the heiress.

Think the meeting is next week about the new ground. Possibly the end of the blues club.

Come on you blues.

I've been to Gainsborough v Halifax before (FA Cup tie), when a young Geoff Horsfield was pulling up tree's in non-league.  Just thought i'd share that interesting piece of information.

I was there tonight, spotted Steve Croudson in the crowd, possible doing some scouting?

Firstly I was impressed how smoothly everything was ran considering the inflated crowd (announced as over 2000). Never had to wait more then 2 minutes at the bar, despite it being packed in all 3 of the bars and the food stand had a good selection of fresh food which put our facilities to shame and again served quickly and good value.

As for the game, a draw was a little harsh but Gainsborough defending was shoddy and the keeper was in no mans land for the second goal. Halifax though didn't create a great deal and Gainsborough could have had 5 in the first 30 minutes. Have a feeling though that the home advantage will see Halifax through to the final

flipping hell, no disrespect to anyone, particularly the OP but is this what we've become? Interested in Gainsborough v Halifax? My resolve as a Town fan needs to hit new highs and quick.

See you all next season.

In fairness to the op we could easily be playing one of them next season so why not take an interest? the thread was clearly marked as to it's contents, if you're not interested no one made you open the thread.

Just want another local game. It makes you wonder if it will be Town vs Gimps , Gainsborough vs Gimps or Gainsborough vs Town around the christmas period if Gainsborough do come up.

Fair point and I fully understand that we could be playing them next season. I never said I wasn't interested. My comment came from the realisation that we have to spend another season in this shitty league, visiting shitty little grounds, watching us get beaten by shitty little teams (probably), blah blah. My comment was out of frustration more than anything, off the cuff.

Anyway, bring on summer, I'm gonna try not to think about Town too much. They're giving me grey hairs.
