I'm struggling to see what the government is trying to achieve in its' advice. I suspect this is their 'miners' moment; an attempt to portray the union movement as the 'enemy within'. much as Thatcher did with the miners. But this is not the same, in fact it is nowhere near it.

As such Cameron has come across as something of a twit in trying to orchestrate a crisis where there isn't one and probably never will be.

Mr McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

It's the breakdown of the upper class gene pool on a mega scale. They're reverting back to single cell amoebas and taking the country down the plughole with them. Am enjoying this immensely!

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.

Of course I could just be very cynical but all this (and the rather stupid 'pastygate' affair) has knocked the Sunday Times' revelation of dodgy dealings within the Tory party right off the front page.

Indeed, any page.

Asda petrol station shut this evening, Sainsburys petrol station shut this evening, a large queue at the Shell garage on the A180 roundabout. Went to Murco on Cromwell road, no queue, petrol available couple of pence more expensive put £10 in no problem, that filled my tank up for 2 weeks

If compo and clegg told all these panic buyers to jump of the nearest high building would they?
FFS when did 60% of the populace have their brians removed.

Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play.
It is bound up with hatred,jealousy,boastfullness,
disregard of all rules and a sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence;
In other words it is war without the shooting.
