That's Brian Clough isn't it ?

That's the question isn't it ?
There's core of talented midfielders like Thanoj, Disley, Artus and KHM.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't have too much faith in S&H turning us into Barcelona. (or even York)

Yes cloughie I think. . . as quoted on 'give him a ball (and a yard of grass) on the 1993 debut album 'casual-sex in the Cineplex' by The Sultans of Ping F.C.. . . . I wholeheartedly recommend listening to this at full volume to anyone. .   until your ears bleed!

I saw Sultans of Ping play a couple of times in York - once supporting Carter USM and once headlining at the Barbican. Sure I've got an album somewhere. Quite a lot of their tunes featured football I seem to remember?

May I ask why ?

That's like asking a man called Mohamed why he goes to a mosque.

Blundell Park is our church, passing football the religion!

Excellently put roundballovalhole

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Jesus’ disciple Peter, picked up a fish to get the tribute money from it, Jesus left his thumb print on the fish, bless'ed is the Haddock.

If God meant you to play up high, he would have built goalposts in the sky.

The guy who is credited with inventing total football spent time earlier in his career at Blundell Park.  (Can't remember his name, someone will)

Grimsby play football, not hoofball. . . on the deck, pass and move.

The only possible drawback is the potential that the players we have or can afford may not be technically able to do this!

Emile Berkassy?. Think it's Chris Blor's avatar..

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

Jack Reynolds at a guess, played for a season at BP and about 30 appearances, later went onto manage Ajax on 3 (possibly 4) different occasions. Rinus Michels creditted him with inventing the total football style which made Ajax the side they were in the 70's, 80's and early 90's.
