Very impressed when he came on for the start of the second half.

Gave us a much different outlet and looks loke the type of player we have been missing.

Would like to see him signed permanantly.

Agreed ticker, coulson just doesn't seem the same no more which is a shame. He never tries to beat his man and always looks to cut in

The differance between winn and anyone else we've had is that winn can cross. A decent crosss/delievery could be the differance between us finishing just inside or just out side the PO's

Too many of our players looked jadded today , or is it because we have been found out, with the system we use ? Silk , Disley and Church , I feel had an under par game ,
You can't fault F/G , they had a plan , closed us down well and prevented their keeper to be in danger . I'll take a win , but know how they would feel , we've been there .

Pleased to hear he did well. Tondeur and Cockers were certainly impressed.

He sounds genuinely excited to be playing for his home town and hopefully him and Soares continue to keep Coulson and others on their toes.

he did exactly what there no.7 norwood was doing RUNNING WITH THE BALL. the reason he stood out was because everyone else in our team looks for the pass.sometimes we just need to be more direct and ruthless.Winn was MOM in my opinion.

Winn for me was MOM too.  Very direct and penetrative, came straight in and really stood out, looks better than non-league thats for sure.  Somebody else mentioned he seemed genuinely excited about playng for his home town club, and you could tell he really wanted the win when he came on.  Excellent debut and very impressive.  Am sure he will be starting on Tuesday rather than Soares.

Pearson definitely man of the match for me - best I have seen him play in a Town shirt.

Been saying for a while that we don't get enough quality crosses in and i was thrilled when we signed Soares, but he has had a slow start to his time at Town and nothing much changed in that department.

Winn showed what a proper winger can do and was very good.Coulson is not a natural winger, more of a right sided midfielder but i think he needs a rest. His zip has gone and he isn't scoring or getting assists lately.

Winn was not MOM though,Pearson was.Got better as the game progressed and was very commanding. For once the sponsors made the right decision.

Winn  is just the sort of player we need not carrying any long term injurys and a local lad who has always wanted  to play for town.
The Pace of the game changed and he was not frightened to have a shot or play anybody in to the game IMHO Church should go into banking he is hopless  and Duffy made very little differences Mason would have been better on the bench with his  speed and also been able to put the ball in the onion bag in the end  but today had everything it was thrilling they were a very good team and myself am surprised that they are not higher in the table last thing I reckon the ref and his lines men were very good and allowed the game to flow.

Agree all above praise.

Winn's crosses also bent away from the keeper.  Too often crosses from any other player are high and the keeper picks them up easily. One cross look miss-hit but the target (Hearn) got to it. Winn showed guile and craft.

Pearson was solid, commanding and quite slick at times.

Great outlet love a left sider that can play like he seems to. Not going to be a type of lad that flys past people more of a early ball into the danger area type of player. Really played well and dont know if anyone else noticed him massivly punch the air at the final whistle....clearly meant as much to him as us lot in the stands to get a last min winner. Could be a little masterstroke for the run in imo by the two gaffers

Could K H-M do the same job on the right hand side?

Coulson could then be inside already instead of drifting in all the time.

Two with raw pace and crossing alongside two with skill and picking up the pieces around Hearn and Elding.

Winn certainly has freshened up the side with that 2nd half performance.

Good loan signing by the managerial duo.

He's a proper winger. We haven't had many out and out wingers over the last few years so he stood out. He's definitely the sort of player we've been missing on that 45 minutes and hopefully he gets rewarded with a start on Tuesday.

But, after just one 45 minute display, he seems too good a player for this level. I'm wondering if his loan (or more?) might be part of a future deal with Stevenage for Liam Hearn?

I love a good conspiracy theory!

I seem to get the impression that Kirk and Spock see KHM as a striker rather than a winger, IMO I think that's where he'll play next year, If we can't hold on to Hearn he would strike me as a ready made replacement.

If Keirnan is being seen as a striker instead of a winger, I would personally have him third in line in front of Duffy, purely on sheer pace, late on, to scare tiring defences, and as a straight alternative if Hearn is subbed, as today.

If we are priding ourselves on ending games fitter and faster than other teams, we need pace to break past players and tee up chances in the box.

K H-M showed when he scored late on in that 6- 0 win that he can spot a good bending cross coming in and beat defenders to it.

At some point to the end of the season, I'm sure he'll prove me right, trying to seal a permanent place for himself in the first 11 for next year.

With Winn in the side as well, we could blast past defences on both sides and Hearn would be salivating at chances coming to him.

Hearn for 40 goals if the service comes his way !!

It would appear that Winn is also handy in goal, being Stevenage's second choice goalkeeper.

Winn sounded like he was the goods from what I could determine from the radio commentary. Agreed he should start instead of soares or church. Thanoj also should start if fit on Tuesday. Back to winning ways and most of the other results were not so bad for us. UTM keep the faith

I was so impressed with him. He actually took on their full back which, when combined with Townsend overlapping, caused them so much trouble. Thanoj made a difference too. Church never looked comfortable when put under pressure. Thanoj has that ability to create space for himself and is more comfortable in possession. He gave the ball away a few times, but he also gave the wingers some vital service.
Both must start on Tuesday!

Also special mention for Pearson. I thought he was outstanding and definitely deserved MOM award. He's looking a lot more confident and comfortable on the ball, and won so many tackles and headers.

Agree about Pearson, I really thought he was terrific yesterday. There was a moment in the first half where a long ball was running out for a goal kick to us when Under pressure from their No 9, instead of shielding the ball to go out he did a little shimmy to his right and took the ball to his left and came away with the ball with their player left wondering what day it was! Very Ferdinand esq and got a well deserved round of applause from the pontoon!

IMO Pearson has been quality since coming in for Garner (bet he's gutted) and is starting to show why he was so highly rated at Boston! Though Miller was very good also, makes Defending look so easy!

UTM!

I'm sorry, I have to take issue with that. We're you at the same game as me? Duffy won 90% in the air when he cameon, and hit the post with a screamer.

I just don't get all this Duffy hating for the sake of it, he's not perfect sure, but he at least puts the effort in.

I think Duffy should remain on the bench as he seems to be most effective when coming on as an impact sub.

A useful option for the last 20 to 30 minutes, however.

Hopefully a bit of genuine width will create a bit more space for Liam to play in. Great to see how Pearson has improved - despite the fact he's done brilliantly since coming back in I can see Garner being moved on in the Summer for a younger (cheaper) understudy. Pearson and Miller has the making of a great pairing.

I would have liked him to take on the player a few times as he seemed to cut in rather than hitting the touch line.

Maybe that's what he's been told to do.

Certainly did more in 5mins than cousin did in 50.

We need lads putting in 10x the work rate from now on in.

Well done Mr Winn, a good start.

But, after just one 45 minute display, he seems too good a player for this level. I'm wondering if his loan (or more?) might be part of a future deal with Steven-age for Liam Hearn?

I agree with you would all fall into place what with  all the top new young player and Winn coming in and seeing Hearns price tag makes one sit back and think as we all know S&H are into building a top quality young sqaud for life  in league 2 when it comes. UTMM.
