Sod the Non-Champions League there's only one match today. What's the best result for us? If Gateshead win they go level on points with us - on the other hand should we be worrying about the teams below us? York are 4th and would pull well clear if they win. I'd bite your hand off now for 5th place but 4th would be even better as it would mean avoid playing Wrexham (or Fleetwood) in the semis (mind you 3rd placed Luton isn't exactly a gimme).

A draw I think on balance  is best for us. Think York will win though.

Gateshead would be better for us I reckon. Preferably about 15-0 to wipe out York superior goal difference. It would make Gateshead level on points with us but we would have a game in hand.

If not then a 0-0 draw and preferably Matty Blair and Jason Walker to be sent off whatever.

I'd like Gateshead to win but can't see it happening. I think the "big boys" (us, York, Cambridge) will start to cut loose now leaving the clubs with smaller squads (Gateshead, Southport, Kiddy) behind.

Slightly surprised at the near unanimous desire for Gateshead to get something. I expect York to make the playoffs pretty comfortably. We have still not been in the top 5 this season and we have a pretty tough run in (all of the top 3 away). I see Gateshead as one of our rivals for 5th and hope they lose tonight.

can anyone please explain why there is all the negativity when we are on such a good run can anyone like myself see luton missing out on the play offs they are on a shite run and there are teams that are on better form than them.

Spot on, at long last the teams around us are starting to slip.  3 points at Fleetwood will really set the cat among the pigeons.  I feel a 'must attend' meeting in the north west and a hotel on the company coming on for that night!

After the York away game York were many fans "best team in the division" and "playing the best football seen for 2 or 3 years".   Maybe, but even their own fans admit that are poor in defence without a settled back 4.  

They are also jealous of our long unbeaten run (well over 90 mins).  We can finish above them over the rest of the season.  A good benchmark.
