This information is from: http://www.thefootballforum.net/index.php?/topic/202481-away-support-1112/page__st__1280

Our average is of course boosted by the numbers at Lincoln, still impressive considering how poor we've been away from home: another good following at Alfreton plus Cambridge next, should keep us in 2nd place, especially if we look like making the play-offs.

603.8 Luton
464.4 Grimsby
449.7 Wrexham
393.8 York
350.8 Stockport
284.7 Mansfield
262.3 Lincoln
260.1 Cambridge
214.9 Darlington
207.8 Telford
178.9 Newport
122.8 Southport
109.4 Barrow
106.3 Alfreton
105.5 Kidderminster
99.4 Fleetwood
89.9 Kettering
86.2 Tamworth
77.2 Ebbsfleet
72.4 Bath
64.8 Forest Green
62.3 Braintree
55.5 Gateshead
29.5 Hayes & Yeading

overall ave 199.2

when you think of some of the places we have still to play (that are more localish) we could be challenging for top spot.

Both Wrexham and Luton are going well, but if we do look like challenging for the Play-Offs you might be right. A top three place in the away attendences would be very impressive no matter where we finish in the actual league.

Night games at Barrow and Fleetwood still to come: we'll struggle to get 300 at those.

Would be interesting to see which club recieves the most away supporters: can't find that anywhere though.

I did discover a list a while back and no one came to us in numbers, nothings changed.

When you consider that we are probably the most geographically isolated club in this league its brilliant.if we had a few more games with in striking distance we'd easy be top

If Cambridge was a Saturday then i reckon we could push 500 there but i doubt it on an evening. Fleetwood on a tuesday doesn't exactly get people excited either...they might think it does with them buying their way out of the league etc but to most of us, they are still not an attractive draw for most fans...

We have always had good away support and i think if we were in a play off place we would be probably top of that list...

Darlington close to Barrow, just birth yorks, the dales across the M6 n round Kendall then, pop over for a quick pint often I suppose. You forgot Gates head which is a quick trip to north Cumbria n then down the M6, or round Whitehaven n down

Central and population of about 140,000 (same as Grimsby + Cleethorpes), so not too great when considered: to be fair they have always been un-league, so a bit of credit I suppose.

And largely Wolves territory so the "always been un-league" bit is a key factor. Highest of un-leagued and above clubs doing well with previous league history like Kiddy and Southport.

They haven't played any of those away yet, so can't say!

Luton have never travelled well to Cleethorpes is my recollection. In about 1983 they came as league leaders, eventually went up to Division 1 that season and brought about 400. One of those clubs that take alot in the South East and Midlands or on major train routes but otherwise no better supported than us away.

We took nearly a thousand to Carlisle and Fleetwood afew years ago didnt we? Fleetwood was a Tuesday too all be it the cup.

Christ you all wanted him sacked a few months ago. 6th place finish and he's now the messiah and can do no wrong
Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

We've only ever been to Fleetwood once: last season, we took around 600.

It was the last game I saw under Woods, refused to go until the team tried for the supporters. Last time I was at Carlisle we had about 400.

Not really RC. Despite their money they are still tin pot no marks.
