Would I be tempting the fate of being knocked out in the 1st round replay if I suggested teams that I wouldn't mind meeting in the 2nd round?

I think there are about 9 teams in there that it would be nice to draw away, likes of Sheff Utd, Wednesday, Notts County, Bradford (it would be just our look to draw Bradford and meet young Jamie Devitt again! He played alright at Sheff Utd on tuesday night when he came on, made a couple of good long passes and looked comfortable in possession, was good to see the lad again!)

providing we beat Port Vale in the replay of course...

Scunny would be the obvious one if we both won our replays i would like to draaw another team local me if i'm honest failing that a team we are more likly to win would be best so we have a chance of making it through to the big money stage games

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

Oldham or Macc away. Preferably Macc as I think Oldham would hammer us

Id rather draw somebody like AFC Totton - gives much more chance of drawing a big side in the 3rd round then.

Provided we both get through our replays I fancy Scunthorpe - not bothered if its home or away either.

We'll probably  get beat but we'll probably  get beat by anyone in the next round and Scunny is the team which would draw most fans in - therefore would be the biggest cash pot.

Either someone excrement at home so we get the small chance of a big money trip away in the 3rd round or someone nearby away

Even if we win, get through the second round knowing our luck we'd still get someone excrement like flipping Yeovil or something...we never get good cup draws...Or haven't done in recent years...

Is that not laregly due to the fact that we haven't got far enough in any Cup competition to get one? Tottenham then Newcastle were basically the best draws we could have hoped for in 2005.

IF we win the replay...

either of the Sheffield clubs or Charlton at home = TV money.

Failing that, bottom half of BSP or below team at home.

To be fair, chances are it will be someone crap. What percentage of the teams in the draw are teams that would be described as 'glamorous'?

I wouldn't bank on getting more money if it were held at the KP chaps, lower league opposition at home usually pulls in around 8000 even with cheap tickets. Our FA Cup attendances are poor unless a really big team comes to town like Man City last year.

As for food, I'll just visit one of Cleethorpes' many chippies pre-match. I can't remember the last time I had food in a ground, and I probably won't again unless we get Kidderminster and their famous cottage pies as an away draw.  £3 for a meat pie that has been sat on a warming plate for the best part of an hour isn't appealing.

I think that we've not done all that badly in recent years considering the fact weve not been in the cups for many rounds.

Liverpool and Arsenal played away in the Carling Cup in a season.
Derby (top of the Championship at the time), Tottenham and Newcastle in the Carling Cup in one season.
Leeds a couple of years ago in the JPT was a decent draw for us.
