Seems to be some cash from their new owner who definitely isn't dodgy and is in no way linked to Stephen Vaughan. They've been chasing Ryan Lowe from Bury but think it's a dead deal.

Exactly, I presume Scott didn't mention the possibility of dipping into the loan market because of any personal preference for it.

There's also the little matter of the £75,000 a year Connell was on,which people seem to be forgetting.

All it takes is someone who can spot the wheat amongst the chaff and these two seem to know who is out there and what they are capable of.



I understand but if connell was the difference between us going up or not it does seem like a bit of a bum deal, if we have no money to spend on a replacement. How many strikers have we had on a free that have scored 20 plus goals in a season in the ;ast 10 years? the answer to that question shows how hard it will be to replace alan.
