That's quite suprising considering he's quitting his job to concentrate on his football career? A bit of a gamble if he 'doesn't want to go full time' don't you think?

Whoever buys him will probably pay less than the Halifax quoted price, but put in generous add ons if he makes it to a higher grade.

H and S have been preparing already, so we shall have to wait up to four weeks for them to produce the next striker!

Had offers of 100k turned down from big spending clubs.

Halifax know how to play the game and know that these clubs will pay 150k.

Rumoured to be attracting league clubs so we don't stand a chance in this one imo.

Best to be left alone.

I didn't say he didn't want to be full time, just when I have spoke to him in the past he could give or take full time, hence why his Crewe trial did not go to plan.

That was a couple years ago, so maybe things have changed.

Hello fellow Fishys First time post for me

i think Vardy would be an excellant signing for the club but from what a very reliable source has told me ( hence why i am now posting) the new striker is Spencer Weir Daley and YES i am very disgruntled by this.


If my source is wrong i will make a full apology and could someone also tell me which of the new lads stood out yesterday and how Duffy And Serge did

£150k my bottom, we didn't get that for Connell so wtf would we risk paying that for a player who played a couple of leagues below us.....£40k + sell on + goals clauses......Halifax are living in a dream world, also if he wants to go they will find it hard to stop him just like we did with AC

BUT

Would not pay anything like £150,000 for him,

£75,000 MAX with add ons for goals and appearances with a 20% sell on clause.

Is that the same dream world that you've just woken up from?
Remind me again, was it £300k you thought Connell was worth?
