It was a bit of banter about an old teammate. Nothing to see here.
I was being ironic TBH

Mani was released too soon.
Orsi wanted away but has shown he can score at this level.
Clifton has lost his shooting boots.
Eisa proved again tonight how lazy he is.
Sadly, all of the poor play came out again tonight.
Colchester set up to hit us hard and Fevrier was their best player on the breaks.
We were far too slow all over the pitch and set pieces were all wasted.
Poor performance and lack of guile or skill up front.
Just hope that we limp over the line by season end.
Artell will have a red hot outgoing phone trying to upgrade this team for next season.
Big clear out needed at season end with no sentiment.

FFS how many more backroom staff do we need?
The problem is in the midfield to be honest.

Mani wasn’t good enough mate, Orsi would have stayed but Hurst told him he could go as he wasn’t going to be playing every week again.

We desperately need much more up front and have now for a couple of years. The daft thing is we let Orsi go last year and tonight he hit his 18th goal of the season. We can't for the life of us spot a decent player, (even when he is right under our noses) but somehow we manage to spot a lot of rubbish and sign them on long contracts. Just listened to DA interview on RH and i just can't believe what he had to say... It's no wonder we are failing!!!

I still can't stand DA's interviews - he thinks we were comfortably the better team and should have won that game? They scored two, had one cleared off the line and hit the post, whereas our first shot on target came in the last moments of the game.
I understand that he has to look on the bright side to keep the players motivated, but it's not reassuring at all when he seems to see a different game to the rest of us.

While I don't neccesarily agree that we were comfortably the better team, you are equally making us sound worse than we were. We had more shots on target than them, Clifton missed a header he really should have scored, we should have scored just before half time when their goalie copulated up, and Wood has had a good effort saved. It's another game of not taking chances that come our way and find a way to lose a close game.

About 40 would be useful, or just 2 or 3 'better' ones would do.

Since DA’s epiphany post Donny the shortcomings are down to squad IMHO. The squad was unbalanced from the outset this season and there was too much to do to rectify this in the window. The Crocombe and Orsi decisions have been much discussed and were very ill-judged without nailed on improvements in the bag. The Eisa and CV signings and lack of a box to box hi-energy midfielder indicate PH saw Harry very much as a CM with Conteh sitting deeper and then one of Gav or Green alongside. I think Conteh and Thompson together would have been beautiful… We always looked a CB short and PH misjudged the abilities of Rodger to be both a Waterfall upgrade and a replacement for Andy Smith. I think Michee’s qualities were underrated, there were shortcomings sure but neither Mullarkey at RB/CB nor Smith as RWB for that matter is an upgrade. In PH’s defence though I don’t think he could be have anticipated the loss of form of Glennon (or maybe opposing managers identified his weaknesses) and the complete failure of Alex Hunt to kick on.
