DA made the point that we still need a point to be secure from relegation this season. Tonight will be tough as Colchester need all the points they can get.

Personally I’ll take a point. For any pessimists you can get 500-1 on a Town relegation with bet365

Strictly speaking, any scoreline better than a 4-0 defeat is just about alright tonight. I think it's got 0-0 written all over it, personally.

5/2 best price on the draw now with Coral, Laddies and a few others.

Colchester will want the win, the draw takes them a bit closer to safety but with their final two games against a Donny side with the bit well and firmly between their teeth and then Crewe on the final day, you've got to think tonight and Saturday against Notts County are the games they've got eyes on to pick the points up.

Sutton's final two against Crawley and MK Dons aren't easy.  Arguably final day against MK Dons will be a side firmly rooted in 4th and resting players.  Could all be done and dusted by then though.

While we want to be in control of our own destiny there is another side to the 'we need a point' coin which is that Sutton have to get 6 points from 2 games to stand any chance of relegating us, drop a point and we're safe.

I think we'll draw tonight in a game best watched on Ceefax.

They've become pretty much draw experts, won just 4 times since Nov 25th when they went on a losing run similar to ours with a couple of thumpings. Good win Saturday but they tend to follow up a win with a winless streak so a draw looks on. Be happy with that.

Grimsby first. Anything else is icing on the cake (if avoiding relegation from the 4th division can be even contemplated as 'cake').

I don’t greatly care, as long as we’re safe. Neither Colchester nor Sutton bring a great deal to the football league, and both have awful grounds for their own unique reasons.

Ultimately, Forest Green, Sutton and Colchester would have all been amongst my picks of sides I’d liked to see to go down at the start of the season, so whatever happens from here should be a decent result as far as I’m concerned. Crawley might have been the other one, but my disdain for them is tempered by Danilo Orsi’s presence there; the “assault” on him at Southampton will liver forever in my heart and mind.
