I don’t think this forum has been as down on the floor collectively as last week. You are right that about the dagger which was caused by all our rivals picking up three points. FGR three up after 28mins at Crewe. How did that happen?

We're not clear yet but that was a big result. Think we'd need to basically lose all of our remaining games to go down from here.

2 more wins and the Colchester game is a dead rubber for us in terms of staying up... Still think that match will be our date to confirm  league 2 for another year...

After watching town for 58 years I can't ever recall the pitch looking this good in April. Well done to the owners for the investment in the pitch improvements and the ground staff for maintaining it.

Are we safe? Not sure. I am punching the air but not opening the champers yet.

43 points might be enough, but I think 46 definitely will be.

We are 4 points ahead of Sutton who only have three games left, against Harrogate, in form Crawley and MK Dons. Tough ask to get more than 4 points from those fixtures.

We are 7 ahead of FGR who's next two games are Mansfield and Wrexham away. They could easily lose those two which means they could only get 6 more points from their remaining games, and get to 42 points

So it's possible 43 will do, but I don't see why we shouldn't pick up more points from our remaining five fixtures. It is looking very good.
