Great team performance and everyone played with passion and that’s all we ask, well done town.

| Dead Eye Dobbin stood motionless waiting, waiting, waiting for the ball to arrive. Back came the right foot, Down came the right foot, Bang ! Headlines around the world as the ball flew into the very top right hand corner of the goal.( Jim Dobbin scoring in the 89th minute for Town against Newcastle United away 24/10/1992 ) |

Credit due where credit is due,
Most of us hammered them after the Mansfield performances myself included, to go win away at home at any team in this league is fantastic but I thought we pretty much controlled all the game barring 10 minutes in the 2nd half where they had a few set pieces.
Alot of very good performances out there today. Waterfall looked excellent against the towering giant Smith, both full-backs very assured Toby took his goal brilliantly while Glennon looked back to his usual best his crossing is sublime. Midfield 3 was very very good today, industrious but had that bit about us today and made the crisp short passes. Wingers was the one area on the pitch where I thought we was average, Harry took his goal well and offers you the graft, Eisa was OK today and I'd love to see Charles get a proper chance once he's fit. Danny Rose just offers you everything in abundance always chasing lost causes and took his goal brilliantly.
Very very happy tonight.
Safe journey home to those travelling fans.

We were the only team in the bottom 7 to win tonight
Think Tranmere were in the bottom 7 before tonight. They are going great guns since they got a new manager. FGR missed a pen in extra time and threw a point away.

10 points clear of relegation and 11 points below play off places . If only we could play Salford every week.

What a game. Awesome team effort. Love that we kept going for another goal even at 0-3 up with positive subs rather than trying to park the bus. Well deserved clean sheet for Cartwright and goal for Clifton. Night and day from the last 2 matches. UTM.

Well done to all 3-0 away is a great result and over 900 town fans making the journey after all the rubbish they have had to watch is just fantastic.

The fishy folk won’t be hungry this weekend…lots of humble pie to go round Easy for DA to criticise 2H performance at Mansfield; easy to criticise mentality for going half a season without an away win. But has he done anything about it? I give you exhibit A, his unenforced team changes and then exhibit B, the result n clean sheet. Beautiful 😎

MoM Mullarkey ran himself into the ground tonight and scored a great goal.
