If we go down what will the gates be.?
I think a lot of town fans will of had enough, if we are doing well 3500, if we are doing not so well 1800.

I think town fans have had two decades of dross and we have lost a generation of fans.

The league matters not. If we are top end and winning most weeks, the fans will turn up.

Weren't the parachute payments considerably increased recently?

Would help our cause if the worst was to happen I suppose.

I just got a pasting for my recent thread but what a load of crap this is, it makes me look like saint

We are not going down until it is mathematically impossible to stay up. I also posted on another thread about the insolvency of NL clubs. It is illegal  for a company (Most NL Clubs) to trade if they are insolvent. I'm thinking BHS, Debenhams etc.

Given their lack of income some may already be insolvent! If so the NL has a legal duty to expel these clubs regardless of position in their league. If they don't and clubs are found to have trade whilst being insolvent then any relegated club would have reasonably good case against against the NL.

If we go down, don't be silly we're staying up.

It was increased to 100% of EFL solidarity payment in the first season and 50% in the second season, although I'm not sure if that is still the case without checking.

However, given what has happened this season, I think there will be a clamour to introduce a salary cap, which was talked about as being 900,000 in last years talks.

If that happens, we will no longer be a big player in that league, and would be just our luck if we drop down and it is introduced.

We've got Tranmere on Saturday. Everything beyond that will look after itself.
