Regardless of political views can we all rightly agree that it was an absolute disgrace the way he was treated by NatWest.
And now It’s surely time he was made sir Nigel!

Without him taking down and exposing these corrupt elites we’d be none wiser, he opened our eyes to the unscrupulous leaders of the EU, the incompetence of government, and now he’s taking on the politically woke motivated banking system and giving them a good beating, he’s like a dog with a bone, a winner and a true leader. If the Tory’s had any sense he will replace Sunack when he ultimately fails.

Watching BBC news this morning for the first time in years and it’s sheer joy 😃

Dunno about anyone else, but I've just moved all my banking to NatWest solely based on their treatment of Farage...

This story has amused me no end, poor old Nigel Farage!
The irony of that charlatan lecturing anyone on misinformation and lies, especially about money isn’t lost on me!

That's certainly one way to look at it.

Think what you want of his....'politics'...he's been 100% correct throughout this scandal, and now has exposed the fact that despite GDPR and other laws specifically put in place to protect data  the head of a bank was willing to discuss personal information of a customer with journalists.  If the boss is willing to do that, what does that say for the character and values of the rest of the corporation?

I'm more shocked that a bank, of all companies, thinks it has the moral high ground to be the arbiter of other peoples beliefs.

Overall though, if the taxpayer didn't have a large stake in Natwest would the Tories really have cared about the optics of this enough to take action?  The fact that 10,000+ others have experienced the same issue tells me they didn't care until it looked like affecting votes, so I reluctantly have to say well done Nige for bringing attention to something that could potentially have affected everyone and has already affected thousands.

Alison Rose is the banking equivalent of Town fans singing Andy Cook is a specs vendor.

You just know it’s going to give him the oxygen to rough up our centre backs.

Is he just an optician during the close season or is it a regular sideline? It's good that he has something to fall back on.

I mean, I’ve now concluded that you deliberately say things that make you look dense and deluded, for comic effect.

Whether you agree or disagree with Farage’s views, his views are entirely legal. A world where freedom of speech is being eroded and people are de-platformed is a move in the wrong direction. Freedom of expression and robust debate are principles that we should all be willing to defend.

And here was me thinking what a lot of press this was getting, over not much at all. Was bored rigid with it.

Perhaps we ought to be discussing record levels of poverty in children, rather than the ramblings of some wealthy ar$e wipe?

How much of a male masturbator have you got to be of a bank, a bank that takes money from royalty and oligarchs thinks you’re a male masturbator

I'm away on holiday in a cottage with ropey Internet so I've not really paid any attention to the news, other than looking at the headlines every day or two. Didn't realise there was really as much of a kerfuffle over Farage and his bank account until I read the Nat West boss had resigned.

Sounds as though these bankers have really fecked it up and they deserve all they get. Farage is entirely entitled to have privacy around what he does with the money he's earned through decades of grift and the information should only be in the public sphere if he consented to it.

Where did the newspapers get the inside track on this story, I wonder?

Regardless of political views the fact that he was allowed to hold a rally at Blundell Park and pose with a town shirt was an absolute disgrace. That along with many other things is going to take a lot of explaining to younger generations.

As I explained at the time to the few right winger, flag waving Farage supporters at the time, I’d have been equally annoyed had it been Corbyn.

Politics plays a key role in football but clubs shouldn’t be allowing their facilities to host propaganda events…
