It’s a shame that Ferguson wasn’t fit. If he had been playing he might well have finished off some of those Brighton moves that just petered out in the box.

Thanks for your support guy's, lack of squad depth being g the difference today . Not the best of games for either team to be honest but gut wrenching to go out on pens. All the very best for the rest of the season and beyond.

I hope de Zerbi stays at Brighton - they are an incredible success story in recent years.  They've introduced a fascinating new tactical approach (Guardiola has been nerding out over it!!) and great to see exciting, innovative football.  Especially when you get teams like Everton stinking out the Premier League like a rotting corpse.
