Taylor's last two first halves are far from the required standard. Doesn't move and can't win aerial duels anymore. I'd be shocked if he was here next season but Orsi will be, at least as things stand

Could be all part of the ‘cunning plan’ to show that money should be made available for better players next season. The risk to Paul is that the directors don’t rumble him. Anyway, well happy overall at Towns position compared to last year. Sorry that the paying fans have only seen 4 home league wins this season. Hopefully, the entertainment will come next season - along with some more Cup success UTM

I'm literally worn out watching this stuff at home!
My Guinness is helping with the pain.

Taylor, thanks for last season but it’s time you was put out to pasture, I’m afraid it happens to the best.

The difference is that Hurst likes Taylor. I think this season has debunked the myth about keeping a playoff winning squad mostly together being best as the squad hasn't ever quite found their rhythm in L2 even with additions to it with some experience. It was what the fans wanted but what the fans want is often not correct. I'm still not particularly convinced about Orsi who has just got into cup games by default where we have nothing to lose and took advantage of risks but in league games he's often not impressed me but Hurst does seem to like these boring and slow forwards. His fascination with Taylor is like his fascination with Vernon while playing Jackson out wide which wasn't his position.

Soooo the lack of any midfield is the obvious glaring issue so he subs off the leftback...

Quoted from 123614
So to leave the players alone for a bit, and have a word about JT. Does he actually realise that his commentary is going out live on the TV stream as well as on radio. Every week he comes out with the same old clichés, his favourite is, "they are two on one", when clearly they are not. Also I have forgotten how many times he has commented on a supposed gap, also he is a very negative commentator. I wonder if he will ask PH after the match about the gap?
You're watching a completely different game to JT and every other town fan this week.

Clear pen, no chance even this ref couldn't give that
