Got an issue with his calf so prob not 100%.

Crucial intercept by Green. Rochdale was through there. Certain goal.  Why can't we try defence splitting passes like that?   We like to dilly and dally looking for the perfect shot or pass.

Yet another flat home performance and lucky to be going in at half time on equal terms. Green and Khan pick of the bunch with everyone else giving 5/10 performances. It's like Groundhog day at Blundell Park. Odoh for them reminds me what it's like to play with a winger.

Emanuel too. Keeps on going hard on the 'elle" and pronouncing it Emanuelle. Maybe Crofty is a big fan of the softcore classic. 🍆

Tbh if they can't get motivated for a game of football they should probably consider a different career and move on. There are people who would give their right arm to have a job in football never mind be a player who gets regularly selected for league football. I don't have nearly as exciting a job but I've yet to be unmotivated to do the job I'm paid to do.

Too many games like this where the team falls flat and looks lethargic. No spark, no imagination, no effort. The only time they've ever been motivated is in the cup games where they have nothing to lose anyway. Why can't we find the same motivation for our league games, particularly at home?

Personally think it will put alot of people off next year unless we go attack the transfer window in the summer. Alot of people seem to agree that going to home games are a chore more than looking forward to Saturday to going to watch your team at BP. We can run all day and battle but seem to have 0 quality or a player that can break the lines of passing from midfield. Said it before but we need to keep a nucleus of grafters in the summer and let the other grafters go to replace with quality. There is never ever doubting the effort of individuals but the quality sometimes I feel I get better value for money going to watch Grimsby Boro.

Second best so far against the worst side in the league.

Another sign of the lack of motivation is the way we just amble up the pitch towards the player taking OUR throw-ins.  

The stats are almost equal.  Although, they have won most tackles, we have won more aerial duels.  Who the hell counts all that.

Green I thought has  had a good half. We’re just missing some ‘oooomph’. We look placid and need some guile in there somewhere. Maybe hunt for Holohan (hasn’t done anything wrong) and/or Taylor for Khan (again done nothing wrong)

First thing Taylor did was elbow his marker, bit of a risk of eating a booking but it does give them something to think about while challenging him

I know what you mean , drove 4 hours again to watch this and already more looking forward to a few beers ,kebab and the box after ...its cold which doesnt help the apathetic feeling towards it to .

Frustrating.  Khan does well nobody in support.  Clifton does well, nobody there.  Can't see where a goal is coming from.

Really nice bit of play from Lloyd to make that run. Was switched on to that with the Rochdale defence a bit asleep.

Cliftons clearance/long pass for the goal is exactly what the defence need to learn to do. The way he looped it with curl putting the defence under pressure instead of hitting it straight and easy to defend.. great finish by Lloyd and well done Harry  👏

Important to win today as Hartlepool and Crawley are both winning and we need to maintain the gap.

Probably only 8 points needed now out of a possible 39 for safety.

If we can't do that we deserve to go down.

3 Points and that's what we needed. We move on to Tuesday and Sutton.

Excellent 3 points although not playing brilliant. Think that will steer us clear of relegation threat. Lets enjoy Sunday and the cup run we've had this year. We've consolidated in the league and seen who can adapt to league football and who can't. Keep our better players and improve on that in the summer, try see how close we can get to mid table by end of the season.

We’ve still got the Mid-table Cup to play for - the first team that gets to a point where they can neither be relegated or promoted. Problem will be our games in hand which means someone might edge us out of the can’t be promoted bit…

Important 3 points, but it seems like a very long time since we were convincing in the league. It's going to be vital to secure some decent additions to the squad in the summer f we are to mount any form of challenge.

Three points is three points, irrespectuve of the performance. In view of some of the other results it was important to win to keep us a safe margin from Crawley (who won). You look at Harrogate down there and rue the five points we dropped against them. Well done to our lads for sticking to their task.

Great to get the 3 points but we only just got away with it, some poor decision making at times but we got the right result in the end. UTM

Sounds like it was a good game to miss, but a vital 3 points all the same. Crazy that it is so long since a home league victory so we have to take them any way that they come.

Town just about deserved the win, Clifton and Taylor made the difference, I was well impressed with Khan and Green today. Well played Town.

Agree about Taylor and Green in particular. Green looked very up for it today and spent a lot of time geeing up (some of) the others. Taylor made a huge difference and we were much more coherent in attack once he'd come on.
