Mansfield have a pitch inspection planned tomorrow morning ahead of Saturdays game with Leyton Orient.
I'm expecting ours to be ok at the minute, no snow, and staying above 0 degrees, but could be a weekend of postponements

Would expect an inspection on Saturday if we do have one. It’s going to be wet again tomorrow day time but ok into the night and moving onwards. Circa 20mm expected over the next couple of days. Wind might help.

Our game may be more likely to get called off by the Rochdale team not being able to get across the Pennines.

Yeah, I'm envisaging a few default 2's in The Pontoon Buster this week.

Minus two early Saturday morning, 5 degrees by midday and dry from lunchtime tomorrow onwards, should be ok.

I don't think our game will be but I can see quite a few others off.

Didn’t think this would be an issue personally but my sister landed at Manchester at 2300 tonight and isn’t past Leeds on a coach yet (0230)  due to snow.

Bit of snow this morning. According to Metoffice, it's stopping around 12noon, then sunny and dry throughout... Fingers crossed!

Yeah, a good 2 or 3 inches where I am in Leeds. Roads seem ok generally, though.

We've got over a foot here in our part of Sheffield. Starting to peter out now though so I'll get out in a bit and dig a trench for the Rochdale team coach.

We are destined to a fool's fate that deserves to be mocked.

I thought this as well, but hoping the sun between 14:00 -17:00 will help dry it before the overnight frost!
It's then due to be between 5 & 6 degrees tomorrow afternoon.

They’re only just getting home now. 10 hours on a coach Who would do that for fun? 🤔

I remember when we used to play with 2 or 3 inches of snow on the pitch , lines cleared and a orange ball . Sometimes progress equals paralysis.

It's just wet here in Clee. My drive and garden have standing water, so that could be an issue.

Can't afford to have another game called off. Our schedule is already pretty onerous.

And paint the lines blue. I recall the Norwich League Cup game the round after we won at Everton when, for most of one half, The Pontoon were pelting Chris Woods with snowballs.
