Rather than trying to find in random other posts, I thought if we have a thread on it's own then everyone can see recommendations, place and prices in one hit

Booked onto the overnight stay coach and talking to the chap organising it (Chris) that the plan was to stay at the brittania hotel Brighton but it proved to be to expensive so staying in Eastbourne so maybe worth looking at Eastbourne hotels

Cumberland hotel, Eastbourne. £52 for the Saturday night with a Seaview. Parking is £2 unless you arrive after 6pm then park around the side or back for free...

I can tell you it is a very nice pub and you literally couldn’t have picked anywhere more central - bars, restaurants, pubs, shops, seafront, pier all around you - you’ll love it

Seafront area so hopefully some town fans will be out and about round there Saturday nite and Sunday morning before the game?!
