I thought the ref was awful. And the feigning head injury to stop play needs sorting out.

Can’t get into too much of a downer about the penalty. I’d have taken 2-2 and the second half performance all day. Still don’t know how they kept that shot from Morris? out.

Hunt was up for it from the whistle. Will be a hell of a player if he keeps that intensity up.

In short, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well I would argue that’s probably the worst league leaders we have had at BP in a long time, sh1t housing like they was Bromley from the first minute and a shocking support for a top of the league team. I thought Town did Ok considering the huge distraction of Wednesday night to come.

Morris was fine when he came on. They did a good job defending against Emmanuel in the second half which really cut our options down that side but nobody had a poor game. I suppose you could perhaps say that Crocombe was poor because his kicking was all over the place once again. It's because max attempts immediate passes (as opposed to hoofs), as he has that ability on occasion, something we're not used to seeing after years of macca getting it steady and then hoofing it, as he most definitely didn't. Max takes the risk of a moving ball and the risk of a quick kick. Sonetimes it pays off, although not today, a couple of times in the first half it nearly did but was just beyond the town player. There are definite occasions it backfires though and today was one.

We’d have all taken a point when we woke up this morning but I came away thinking that Orient were beatable today - although it’s a great point regardless. A good entertaining game - a shame the crowd was down a bit. I’m really looking forward to Wednesday now!

Firstly, the ref was excellent.

Secondly, Hunt oozed class.

Thirdly, Orient were not the best opposition so far, that was Salford by a mile.

Great game today. Should have won, but entertaining nonetheless.

The ref was better than average imo. He got most of the big decisions right (penalty, the yellows for the fracas in front of the Lower) but then gave some really pointless fouls that noone else seemed to see.

Why do opposing managers always say "when you come to a place like this" in a disparaging way?

Almost as if it's unthinkable not to roll us over and take the three points.

Fair enough. Although average has been a pretty low benchmark. Lloyd (who had a great game) was being constantly fouled/strangled by their centre backs. And there were two penalties we should have been given in addition to the one we were.

Depends on view and perspective I suppose.

To be fair, BP has a reputation as being a hostile place. I think that’s what they refer to.
