Just a random thought, I know it's just a dream but I have a genuine question.. say we did l the unthinkable and reached the semi finals. The other 3 teams are all in the top 6 of the Premier league and guaranteed European football. Does that mean we'd get that extra spot or does it go to the next team in line in the prem table?

Even more worrying - if we won the Europa League we wouldn't qualify for the Champions League group stage because we're
not a Premier League team.  

Not sure what we would get ... a trophy, plus a note saying "Well Done - enjoy your triangular corner flags" ?

Basically they're scared of us, aren't they?







Edit: We'd pocket 7.8M quid or thereabouts. Worth getting out of bed for, I suppose...

Sadly, I think it goes to the next Prem team.

For balance if we were to lose tomorrow and Tuesday, against two form teams, we'll be edging towards a relegation battle. Hope we win both but please stay calm

I think that Colchester and Gillingham may think we are the in form team, 8 goals in the last 3 games and 5 of them against a team 4th In the Chanpionship. No doubt they had spies at BP and BP rocking puts the fear of God up most teams.


You can please some of the forumites some of the time but not all the forumites all of the time

Yeah but the original question was about being a semi finalist and qualifying, not a finalist. Semi finalists don't qualify on that basis.

But Yes if your runner up you qualify if winners are in champions league
