With options limited, would anyone be interested in a coach from West Yorks area to Southampton? Rough details at the min but would be:

Pickup - Xscape, J32 on M62 (2 mins off the A1)
Time: midday
Arrive: 5pm
Arrive back: 3am (est)
Cost: £31 (53 seater) £51 (32 seater)

Just looking for numbers & interest at the minute.

Handy location for anyone from sort of York, Leeds, Hull, Goole, Wakefield areas. There’s a Premier Inn at Xscape if you fancy a few hours kip rather than doing the full trip home too.

If we can keep this under 300 pages that’d be great.

Could you do a pick up at the Grantham A1 Junction?

Would be going down the M1 mate, otherwise it’d be a trip around the M25 about 3pm

Could always do a car share meeting up at Xscaoe.

Possibility share driving . Certainly I would not want to drive for 10 hours much of it in the dark.

Give this a little bump. I’ll let it run for a couple of days.

Do the Yorkshire/Manc based exiles have a WhatsApp group? The London/South East one is active and useful, have met a fair few people off it too.

There must be demand for a coach from up there for £30 a pop, cracking deal compared to the trains.

Nah nothing official that I know of. It’s a bit of a weird one round here, it’s not so far away that it makes BP inaccessible, but I can be a bit of a pain in the bottom on occasions like this when the provision (if any is laid on) only takes into account people in GY/Clee. I can get to BP in just over an hour on a decent run, so it’s not like coming up from London to the SE where you’re looking at 3/4hrs.

I’ve had to take the plunge on train tickets already, got a return as far as London for £36, if you leave it any longer you risk that hitting a ton easy. Would much prefer being able to get there & back same day but not much doing by the looks of it.
