The Wrexham media love-in is sickening, but their fans were an absolute class act when we beat them in the semi-finals and donated considerable amounts to the ticket fund so our fans could afford to go.

The rimming of Ryan Reynolds by the media companies, the GO TEAM WREXHAM shite that you see fanboys and girls from all over the world on social media and even the cringeworthy attempts at pretending they get the game from Reynolds and his mate don't represent the real Wrexham fans in my eyes.

Nor does the arrogance of their team.  It's no surprise though that a Phil Parkinson side is full of arrogance with nothing to as of yet back it up.

Wrexham have achieved nothing yet, that’s a fact. I don’t doubt their fans are an honest bunch but as has been said, it’s no surprise that a Phil Parkinson team is arrogant and full of self confidence that boils over to inflated egoism.

Wrexham aside, I liked the honesty of what Sharpe said and wish more post match interviews were like that…

Yeah, media training has led to boring interviews full of meaningless soundbites. Much more interesting when the players are more honest and complain about the officials/opponents/managers etc.

They could be a likeable team (fans fantastic) but It's just such a shame that Maradona Mullin is an out and out CHEAT. Handball goal in the playoff final but we can let that go because we still stuffed them. But is Mullin unable to remain standing during a match or does he just throw himself to the floor when someone breathes on him?

And all the more chucklesome that he was injured last night.......probably throwing himself to the ground needlessly again.

Mullin - 0/10 for sportsmanship
          -10/10 for freestyle diving

The olympics beckons, or potentially some kind of celebrity challenge with Tom Daley

Yeah one or two of our players interviews  last night sounded like they’d come out of a book of 101 footballing puns .
It’s a shame players and managers rarely say anything interesting these days

Seen Ben Tower’s interview on You Tube and he certainly has a different version of events!!

Suffice to say there’s little chance of a pre-season friendly between these two clubs!!!

To be honest, what's in it for Sharp (a striker who has scored over 250 goals - most in the top two tiers of the game) in picking an argument with a fifth tier side?

Nothing.

He's probably just fallen into a trap that a) keeps the media's wankfest going over Wrexham and b) gives an episode worth of content for the documentary.

Fifth tier side with third tier budget mind. It’s been a Non-League team cup run only in name. We were the lowest budget side in this round of the competition.

Fair play to their fans who donated to our fund, but the BBC fawning over them has been nauseating and I’m all Notts for the title race…
