Unlike the Pontoon Buster that I run the popularity of the prediction league has waned badly unfortunately. Whereas I used to have to but a 32 team limit on the game, the last game finished with only 17 entrants.

I think that I have left it just a little bit too  late to get a new full season in this time around, so what I plan to do is to give the prediction league a break until the start of next season. I will then run a new league and we will see how many entrants we get. If we do get something like 25 or over then it will be worth me running it still but anything around the levels of the last game, I don't really think it will be worth my time and effort.

Apologies to those who have stuck by the league and continue to enter but we will see next season what sort of response we get.

Totally understand your decision to "wait and see" Les

I've participated since day one and really enjoyed pitting my wits against everyone but all good things comes to an end eventually don't they say?

I'd like it to think you might still be able to continue the competition later on this year but if not, thanks as always for your dedication over the years  👍

I will echo what FOOW said. Thanks Les, basically whatever works for you as you take the time to run it.

Only other thought to keep people ‘engaged’ is have a buy in to keep people interested for longer? Only something small, say £5 or £10 (apologies if I have offended anyone by indicating they are small amounts).

Either way, if and when you run it again, I will defo be in.

I will definitely run a new league at the start of next season, and we'll see how much interest we get.
