I think somebody plucks a figure out of their rectum and then types it into the web site. I suspect it's as much nonsense as some of the figures you hear bandied around for players' wages most of the time.

I imagine Keiran Maguire would have some salty things to say about these transfer sites. So much cloak and dagger stuff with staged payments, sell ons etc. Literally anyone's guess. And then there's the auditors..........

LOL Colchester have apparently got millions of talent, most of which is over 30. £1.2M specifically in Alan Judge and Cole Skuse who have a combined age of 70.

So in theory we are over achieving in the league according to these figures, cannot understand why Real Madrid or Barca aren’t chasing after Hurst for what he’s achieved with such little resources.
