Looking at their squad and no doubt their wage bill I’d suggest they’re under performing to be honest.

Not much to add from the posts above about Town today, the squad and manager clearly knew the last week or so wasn’t good enough and did something about it.

Players, staff and supporters all played a part today and it was great to hear some supporters in the lower giving Michee some encouragement and well deserved praise.

Really good solid battling performance against a very good Stockport side. Holohan my MOM but I thought most of the lads played well, other special mentions for Amos, Khan and Waterfall.

I said on the Salford post-mortem thread that in this league your never much more than 2/3 good players away from being one of the better sides and I think today showed again we aren’t a million miles off anybody, if we can find that extra bit of quality going forward - with the next run of fixtures after Swindon looking more favourable (on paper) theres still a slight hope this season won’t fizzle out into nothingness.
