Funny you say that, conversation with my lad yesterday we mentioned about going to a back 5, waterfall, maher and Smith as the 3 with glennon/amos as left wing backs and efete playing as a right wing back.
I'm sure we did that at Stockport (more by luck the judgement though)and look how that turned out!.

Think it was at Salford and Harry played RWB. I’m sure that would allow us to play one of the more creative midfielders too.

Sick of hearing about improvements made at the club.

Odd take.

I think Maher is decent but wonder if he’s more comfortable in a 3 we do have some midfield options to be fair but don’t seem to be finding the best blend.

Odd take.

I preferred it when the balls weren't round.

I still don't see what Green offers if I'm being honest. He made a difference yesterday aerially but we might as well bring on an extra centre back for that job, they'd offer just as much technically. Halifax fans commented before that he's technically not the best and it's really showing.

We are going down the wrong road IMO.

Maguire Drew created a Torquay goal yesterday with a sublime long range pass that we don't see too often but with workrate the main requirement we won't be seeing it here anytime soon.

Teams need creative players who might not be as hard working as some but it is question of getting the right blend.

I’m sure JMD’s manager at Yeovil wasn’t too happy.

Odd take.

If you were a Tesco customer and they told you they had employed more people in their head office and warehouses and eased out the old ones and also  made some cosmetic improvements to a few clapped out stores but they sold the same quality food at the same price would you be excited about the improvements made?

Retailers do that all the time to be honest.

For all the improvements made, the toilets are still absolutely disgusting. There is barely ever any soap or paper towels in the Main Stand gents.

All the people coming in on the football side, other than the recent Head of Operations, seem to have zero working knowledge of the football industry.
