Apparently we're tipped for a Champions League place....finally!

"A league table of footy scran wouldn’t necessarily match that of the British football pyramid. Grimsby Town would be battling for a Champions League spot. Gourmet scotch eggs, Grimsby haddock and salsa tacos or a French stick packed with soy and honey beef brisket are on the menu at Blundell Park. Hotdogs at Manchester United and burgers at Leeds United meanwhile would be enough to get them relegated."

This is at Man City. We need a van or two like this serving really decent fish and chips too.

Would have to pay me to eat a salsa taco, club's gone down the shitter since chesseburgers were taken off the menu by the woke elite.

I thought it sounded nice and was going to try and get one when I'm back next, but then I saw the picture and think I'll give it a miss.

That chicken and halloumi wrap at AVRO FC looks ace. Unfortunately, as my seat is in the Findus, the available food is 1980s-esque.

And what there is on offer isn’t cheap, add to it £2.50 for a cup of tea 🙄

Times change. And so expectations.

Given the choice of a scold your mouth pukka pie or a premium burger, I’d quite happily pay the £5 difference.

I remember those visits to aggborough and their brilliant yet affordable grub and it set a very high bench mark. Many supporters wanting to know why ours couldn’t  live up to their standards, even when we were ‘europes food town’. I think the answer is self evident

There seems to be a big push on improving food at football which is great I guess.

I’m told the food at BP is much improved. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten whilst being at a football ground since a random trip to kiddy a few years ago.

I never buy food at an EFL or PL ground. I do visit a lot of grassroots grounds and love the snap there.

Proper pies too. Not the mass-produced stuff you get elsewhere. £2.50 for pie, peas and gravy at Retford United last night and £1 for a big cuppa.

Good chicken curries to be had at Staveley, Frickley and Albion Sports.

Superb sausage rolls and pasties at Harworth Colliery.

Unpopular opinion but the food at BP is overrated.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"
