Four weeks today since our last league point was gained against Bradford. I’m not suggesting we’re in crisis but I feel we need something out of today with some pretty difficult fixtures ahead in the next few weeks.

Unless one of the ‘new’ injuries this week is one of the centre backs, I can see him going 5 at the back today, any 3 from 5 in the middle (out of Holohan, Green, Morris, Clifton, Hunt) with MacAtee and Kiernan up top.

Gonna need a vast improvement on last week to get anything from this game. Stevenage have just gotten a habit of finding a way to win games and we just have found a habit of not winning especially at home.

I’d go as physical and energetic as I could. Midfield of Harry, Holohan and Green. Otis and Keirnan either side of McAtee who can float around and do as he likes, although slightly out of position.

Guess it depends on who the new injuries are but given they'll be big and physical I wondered if he might consider three at the back.

Regarding the injuries, the language Hursty used in his interview was quite interesting. He said “the two players were available to us last week and won’t be this week”. If you micro analyse that, it implies the players he’s referring to didn’t play last week.

I played golf with a Stevenage season ticket holder last week. He reckons Evans has them playing some great football, so a combo of that and his mastery of the dark arts could make it a testing afternoon
