The salary potentially doesn’t match the job title but it reads and seems to be a job aimed at a graduate or recent graduate so there’s potential there.

A role like this can be a gateway and with football the global machine it is now, there’s scope to forge a decent career so again, that could be a pull.

Balancing the books is always a task and it’s likely a case of, we need these roles but we don’t have a bottomless pit.

The reason I didn’t apply for the safeguarding role was due to the part time offer and the salary, it left no room for me to say work at my current job 3/4 days a week and then that as an additional and it certainly wasn’t something I was able to do part time.

The positive is the roles are being created and are entirely necessary, the not so positive is possibly the advertised salaries…

Does it include free child care and breast feeding on the job - just asking for a friend.

As long as your mates don’t wear stone island clobber you should be alright 😜

Tartan Blanket and comfy sweaters now mate. 😢👴

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

If they get a graduate they don't have experience which is invaluable in a commercial role both in terms of generating income and also understanding how to build commercial relationships, usually the latter leads to the former.

At this salary, I think it is unlikely that they get the calibre they probably want. In that regard, they would have been better reducing the salary and going out for a graduate who they can mould.

It does make me wonder if the new Head of Commercial is on the kind of salary you would expect to see for this role.

Seems a very low salary for a manager with commercial nous. There seems to be a lurch from quality to quantity in the office.

I would have thought an ex or present GTFC player that probably already lives here & coming towards the end of his career would be ideal for this role.
