The squad depth is evident to see and all of those will get a chance at some point, injuries/suspensions happen. Didn’t watch it for obvious reasons but based on what I’ve heard (and already know about him) JMD has to start soon, I know Hurst doesn’t like him but he offers so much more than Kiernan IMO.

Good watch overall, with most fringe players giving PH a headache!
Maher - perfect, imagine having a backup with that kind of quality. Khan - Superb 45, lively, and looked very impressive. Clifton - Looked good in CM, he's feisty, always hustling and played a good game. Khouri - My MOTM. Made some fantastic tackles, and considering he's played very little first team games, he stood out for me. Orsi - Took his goal well, seemed to come across as a clever type of striker, who uses his body well, and is a pain to play against. Simmonds - Not sure if he picked up an injury, but he looks a great prospect, some wicked balls, and showed some great strength.
Pepple - Unfortunately, he's gone further down the pecking order, and didn't stand out when he came on. Wearne - Wasn't at it, like JT said, i think he was trying too hard. He still has a part to play but didn't do great when he came on either.

Do we play Orsi in place of Richardson up top with Taylor, or would we miss having that energy and someone dropping a little deeper?

For me, he played that role in the 2nd half, and didn't get involved a great deal, although the 2nd half was scrappy in general. Would like to see Simmonds have a go if not injured based on the first 45 last night.

A little harsh on Pepple to say he didn't stand out, I thought there defence at times didn't know how to cope with his strength. There is clearly a player in there somewhere but needs a stroke of luck and far more composure in front of goal.

Agreed. Watching the game I thought Tondeur was overly critical of Pepple (as well as Wearne to a lesser extent). I think it’s easy to reflect and reach the conclusion that he had a stinker but twice he did really well to have himself through on goal; slipping once and shanking the other wide after a lovely first touch. Granted what happens in those moments will define a striker but I think it’s clear to see there is some decent raw material there even if a few rough edges remain right now. Patience needed with the lad I feel.

If you include Simmonds, it's not unfair to say that Bim is quite clearly fifth choice of five strikers/forwards though, will be six when McAtee is fit again.

The problem with led lighting is they get dimmer every time they are used . they slowly burn out . They will all need replacing in a couple of years I'd guess
Reminds me of a previous regime that took about 16 years to replace.
