Subjected to racial abuse at yeovil, these uneducated morons have no place in society never mind at a football match , to do this to anybody never mind to one of the most polite & well mannered human beings you could ever wish to meet just makes my p--s boil

I think I’ve posted this before but it seems relevant; I once took a torrent of abuse from a guy in the lower Findus for describing Lenny as an an “enigma”. I think it took at least 4 people to calm him down and clarify what had been said.

Regardless though, whether that chap had misheard or misunderstood what I had said, at least he had the balls to say something. If you watch the Yeovil footage, this does not appear to happen as the abuse persists for sometime. I find this almost as perturbing as the original offence.

There was an incident at Yeovil in April it seems that hasn't been concluded yet either. Lenny posted a lengthy statement on his Instagram last night and it wouldn't surprise me if the brain-dead powers that be at the FA or National League punish him instead.

They're weird down in that part of the world. Completely backwards. I hope whoever did it is found and banned for life but the fact nobody stood up to them is appalling. Shame on Yeovil.

His first encounter with racism in football was 20 years ago. Yeovil have said they are investigating but he won't hold his breath and it will be interesting to see what the FA and National League will do seeing as they've been made aware of the footage. It ends with his questioning if Kick It Out will ever happen and stating that racism is still very prominent in the UK.

He disabled comments but it seems to have disappeared now which sums his point up unfortunately.

Not sure we can throw stones unfortunately, I've heard plenty at Town games over the past few years and last years home game against Notts County involved an incident which prompted the ref to speak to managers and an announcement on the tannoy as well as another torrent of homophobic and racist bile.

Club promised some better reporting system but that's never materialised.

Abhorrent wherever this happens but let's not pretend it's a unique issue with Yeovil and that we don't have similar knuckledraggers within our ranks (I'm not saying you were suggesting that btw, it's just a general point).

Exactly golfer i wish i knew the answer , for me society doesn't work hard enough to eradicate it i can remember these chants in the 70s at football we are now 2022 & to still have to put up with it is a disgrace , i know it's a tiny minority but they spoil it for everybody else
