3 matches against Wolves, late in the competition. They were packed with household names.

Never won against Wolves if you are refering to 1979/80 season, drew at home, drew at Wolves and lost at the Baseballl ground.

We knocked Wigan out in 04/05 at home (teeing up a home time with Charlton).  Whilst not one that sticks in the mind as a great cup shock, but they were promoted to the Premier League that year and were top of the Championship at the time of the game.  Gate - 3,005

Charlton finished 7th in the Prem the season prior and from memory we absolutely battered them but just couldn't score.  They had two chances and took them.  A microcosm of the early Slade days.  An improved 5,735 watched that game.
