Over 200 appearances at predominantly League One level with decent stints in League 2, good age and a good pedigree. Very pleased with this one too, think there’s definitely some potential in there

Sounds like he has the ability and good with the ball, complimenting some of the graft of the other options.

Interesting why he only signs a 1 year deal and Green gets 2 plus an option on a third….Hope Paul H gets asked that question. Fox only signed for a year and then left. Would have at least liked to have seen an 1 year option on this deal too.

Green we paid what sounds like a decent fee so we were always going to make sure it was 2 or 3 so I don't think it can be compared

Think it's only a year to test of his body can handle the season with us.. If he gets injured and unavailable most of campaign Hurst can cut his losses but if he has a Ben Fox type of season and we are at the right end of the table it's a win win situation as better chance of a promotion for the club and puts himself in the shop window for a better deal here or elsewhere. Hurst has done this with quite a few players I can remember.. Danny Andrew who's now a regular in L1 after getting himself back in track and most recently Ben Fox who I think will have a solid career in L2. Sensible from PH.

From what I understand Fox only wanted a year, he essentially used his stint here to get back playing again after a long injury stint and to get himself back in the shop window. Everybody benefited from it and we move on.

soomeone (maybe PH or JS) said that if we want to get to L1 we need to have players in L2 who are capable of playing L1. Morris is definitely one of those.
There was a poster on twitter who said that Morris wasn't made of glass, like some were suggesting, but he'd been unlucky - i think he quoted an ankle injury which had been the result of a freak accident as an example

Think that was his brother. Who seems a right nob tbh arguing and giving grief to anyone who doesnt have a good opinion of his sibling

Green is moving up so will want a bit more security, Morris is moving down so will want a chance to get back up ASAP.
