With less than 3 weeks to our first pre-season friendly, does anyone know when the squad start pre-season training?

Would have thought next week? First game on the 9th, would want a week or so before then I'd have thought?

Which now I actually think about it, this turn around is bonkers - seems only yesterday we were playing Solihull!

Surely the players who were in full training right up to the play-off final, especially those who played substantial minutes in the play-off games, should have a few extra days break. The body needs a period to recover, and they won't have lost much fitness in such a short time. It's still only two weeks since the final and they should all get at least a month before resuming full training. A proper break may well pay dividends in the long run.

Looking at his misses and the fact that he has just got engaged I reckon JMD will be knackered by the time he gets in for pre season. In fact pre season will probably give him a rest 🙂

Once you've got the wedding ring on their finger you're better of with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit, at least that doesn't let you down with a headache everytime

Absolutely, but post engagement pre wedding are good times. Let’s hope he extends it for about 10 years. I managed just over 2 before the fun stopped 😢

That’s the reason I’ve been engaged 8 times and none of them have resulted in marriage

When the fun stops, stop.
