I think this is a very good signing. At 26 years old he could be the mainstay of our defence for several seasons to come. Talk of Ryan Bennett returning is ok but at his age we would only get 2 or 3 seasons out of him at most . I would rather have a younger player who you can build a long term defence around.

I don't get it? Isn't your job as a mod to tidy up the board? As Poojah suggested, you could've just amended the title of his thread to 'Incoming- Niall Maher signs' or similar

Fishy always goes a bit weird in the summer.  It's like everyone gets hit with football withdrawal symptoms and in desperation for an outlet, will start heated arguments over whether its OK to wear odd socks or not.
