The signing of Maguire-Drew and Holohan were absolute masterstrokes by Hurst. During that horrible run we had, it was fairly obvious to most that we were playing ok in the main whilst managing to be hopelessly profligate at the same time. Hurst identified the problem, and boy did he solve it.

In came those two, neither of which you particularly notice bombing about the pitch for 90 minutes, but both have this knack of doing big things in big moments.

Holohan scored the winner against Stockport, that thunderbolt to turn the game against Chesterfield and THAT goal at Meadow Lane. Maguire-Drew meanwhile got that last minute equaliser against Halifax just after New Year, that 30 yarder against Altrincham, and of course the goal that sent us up. He’s made plenty of others too.

Fair to say this season could have been quite different without them, although in fairness there’s so many you could say that about.

I had to watch again as John is my favourite commentator.  A completely genuine fan. Loved it and I honestly donot know how many times I have watched this now but the playoff triology is the best film ever.
