It wouldn’t surprise me to be honest as they’ve released a couple of keepers I think.

Great effort and I think it will be a while before we see someone play as  many games as he has (although I have hopes for Harry Clifton).

Hope he continues to have a good career, he will certainly get a club.

Great servant for the club. Regardless of what you thought of him as a player, he’s a top guy who’s given our club 10 years of service. Wish him nothing but success.

I echo the sentiments of others.

A great servant to the club and one of the best shot stoppers I have seen here.

Sadly the past season or so wasn't the way he would have wanted to bow out and we all saw this coming.

We all wish him the best in the future. He will soon get fixed up with a club and still has plenty to offer.

Off the pitch he will be missed around the area as he did a lot of great work in the community. He will forever remain a popular figure and I hope we see him visit Blundell Park as a guest many times in the future. I think he married a local girl so I wouldn't be surprised if he settled in the area once he retires.

Good luck Macca

Would have been nice if his testimonial match followed the play off final as would have been great to thank all the players for promotion and give a special round of applause and cheers to Macca to thank him for his excellent service and performances for GTFC.

Best wishes to him for his future career both inside and outside football.
