Joint 11th favourites. I think we can do better than that.

It's telling that Stockport are the favourites. I know they have money, but you'd still expect another team or two to be ahead of the.

I don't think there's anyone to fear in league 2 this year and a lot of teams have a chance

Whilst I’m are we’re not rolling in cash, we’ve been sensible and no doubt hurst will be prudent again and bring in valuable players.

I actually think Town and Stockport can do well next year, that said, I’m happy to be off the radar…worked a treat this year…

How can anyone say how we are going to do when nobody knows what our squad will look like? We can only wide on a wave of euphoria for so long.

The only odds that mean anything are the ones just before the season starts when most teams have got players in, but i reckon by then our odds will shorten, particularly if we keep certain individuals.

Theres a lot of good teams below us in that list too

20-1 is worth a few quid though, isnt it?

The early signs are that we could have a top 3-5 average attendance in League Two next season. That doesn’t mean everything, but it should bear some correlation with budget.

I would like to see us take advantage of our current momentum and speculate with our budget and acquisition this summer. That doesn’t mean spending loads of money we haven’t got, but having the confidence to back ourselves and recognise that better performances and results enabled by a better set of players can repay itself and more in the shape of extra bums on seats.

This is the kind of calculated risk that Fenty never had the guile to make, and hence we continued to tread water until we finely ran out of breath.
