Note in season ticket pack suggests no unaccompanied kids under 14 to be admitted next year. Am I reading that correctly?
As someone how attended unaccompanied from age 10 and woukd have missed the Mcmenemy championship season if that had been the case that seems strange .

It’s a kids right of passage to be able to go to the Town games with their mates ,we was going to away games on the trains younger than 14 .
I was lucky it was only £1.50 and pay on the gate when I was a kid mind 😂

Is it must be accompanied with an adult to get the best rate of ticket and a bit more expensive to go solo ?

You actually paid ??
Climbing over the wall into the Barrett stand bogs are my earliest memories !!!

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

I know, me too - but times have changed - 14 year old 's in numbers are now capable of causing major disruption knowing their  actions will have no consequences - apart from spoiling the enjoyment of the majority.

Such a shame this. My first season ticket and the thing that took my love for Town to another level wouldn’t have ever happened if this rule was around. May be the case for others

Hahah I did when I was young in the 80s  , by the early 90s we had a girl in the ticket office and a guy on the Main stand gate , I reckon We must have got in for free for about 10 years , it was no wonder our attendances was crap in those days 😂

It’s a funny one Becauee I went on my own occasionally when I was that age, technically anyway and then the blokes around me looked out for me…but then I just enjoyed the game, some seem to get bored etc.

That said, my issue wasn’t kids on Sunday, it was the flipping mum of two kids who kept pushing them to the barrier at the end of the aisle during the second half. The kids weren’t arsed about the photos she was clearly taking for her Instagram and she got pissy as hell when some bloke very politely told her that if her kids stayed there, should town score, little Jimmy would get flattened against the barrier…

Ouch

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.
