We are in constant contact with the league but unfortunately have no say over venue and pricing. ( We’ve donated £20,000 each to @officialgtfc  (via @MarinersTrust) & @SolihullMoors To help with their fans’ travel and to bring down costs for kids tickets. We’re speaking to the league about doing more to listen to and understand the fans to avoid this happening again.

For £20k they've bought themselves some distance from the National League stadium and pricing decision. What really grates for me is that if the final had been Solihull v Halifax I suspect there would have been free child tickets or other offers chucked around like confetti to avoid a virtually empty stadium. National League were no doubt hoping for 2 big clubs and implied that in their pathetic PR response. I would like to know what the stadium hire deal is and who get's what. If the GLA are involved it might be available via FoI?
