It's obvious to every National league football supporter that picking this Olympic sports stadium out at Stratford in east London was wrong, only an idiot that has no idea of football would pick such a venue. The wrong venue at the wrong time ( Jubilee weekend) hotel prices trebled, London rammed for our Queens special 4 day celebrations, how on earth are these people even allowed to make decisions like this ?  just like Politicians we have the wrong people in the wrong jobs, and then there are the cost of tickets ? how did we ever get for such people running this league ? as Wembley was not available, at least they could have picked somewhere other than London, it is fair to say that the National league are run by incompetent, not a clue buffoons.

Any reason why Wembley isn’t available?

Well said.  What is very worrying is that all other fans can reach the same conclusions.

National League can't see this.

Completely agree. How do these cretins get appointed in the first place and isn’t it time for the clubs to take action to remove them? If we fail on Sunday we should be asking our board to start the ball rolling.

The less people that stay over the night and/or buy food inside the stadium the better.

UEFA booked it for Italy v Argentina on June 8th and insist on having 7 days before an event to set up the stadium.

It now looks like the seats behind both goals have been removed which is going to be dreadful for the atmosphere and look a total embarrassment on TV.

What we know so far is

The National League were desperate to find a ground with over 50,000 capacity in case it was needed. The last 3 have had crowds of 6k, 9k and 16k. This greed potentially ruled out much more accessible options for fans.

The ticket prices are disgusting high particularly for under 16. The lack of over 65 concessions is also scandalous. The league knew most tickets were in the upper tier and yet announced no concessions in that area. Once again pure greed.

The venue should have been sorted a long time ago. It’s clear that leaving this so late has contributed to this. Allegedly the delay confirming the venue in April was when West Ham told them they would be taking loads of seats out by which point it was too late.

Hope everything runs smoothly on the day because judging by the organisation and distain for fans so far it could get rather ugly.

This has been a nightmare pretty much since we got in the car home from
Wrexham. The way back was spent trying to find hotels & transport to get down, half the trains are cancelled and hotels probably 3 times what you’d normally expect. Then we’ve had the ticketing farce which has been covered in nearly 30-pages on another thread. Now you’re seeing images of how the ground looks, absolutely enormous chasm-like gaps behind each goal.

I’ve honestly never known anything like it.

All of this is true.

But, as supporters of Grimsby Town we have a job to.....

Rise above it. Get behind the team on Sunday and roar them back into the league. All of these issues are the same for Solihull but THEY WILL NOT have support like we do.

At 3 o'clock forget all the issues and focus on supporting the team.
