If we defend set pieces like yesterday I think I would rather we play Chesterfield

It's a really good game, they are ahead of ours on goals scored at the 45 minute mark anyway.

That giant up front for Solihull looks a handful

Is Jamie Osbourne still there?

Yes but he got sent off at the end of the season and is on a three match ban, so won't feature in the final even if they make it there.

Not worried about Solihull if they win this - we're more than a match for them in our current guise (the last time we played them we had Burgess starting in midfield and only won because we weren't prepared for their 7ft striker - think we'll have a much better gameplan against them this time if they win)

3 match ban after a red card. He’s been just about their best player according to my Brummy sources.

I think we’d struggle if we play SHM but also Chesterfield clearly believe people have written them off which is a dangerous mind set to come up against as the likes of Cooke will have a “go out and prove them wrong” narrative in the run up to the final if they get through.

Maybe though our opponents might just be a bit concerned about some of the thefts we pose as well.

Osborne is a creator.  Just the type of player we don’t want to play against, and they need.

Would Jamey Osborne be eligible for the final or would he still be serving his ban

Hurst there to see everything at first hand.

You can never say that Paul Hurst is work shy that’s for sure.

If it does turn out to be Solihull just remember 2006. We beat Cheltenham fairly comfortably twice that season but they turned us over in the final.
