Crap, that's a surprise. Didn't realise he was that age but you don't really expect this sort of thing to happen to a still relatively young guy. Been in some great films.

He really has. Goodfellas is a big part of my formative years and an all time classic. Been in some underrated films too for my money-Narc and Identity spring to mind.

Also Copland; a massively underated film in my opinion, in which he plays a complex, troubled character very convincingly.

That’s a great shout! I’d forgotten he was in that and you’re right it’s criminally underrated (pun intended). A brilliant cast in which Stallone is good too. I remember watching him n thinking this is different to his ‘normal’ roles.

It was sad to hear about him passing away

67 is relatively young

I always recall his role in Goodfellows of course but I also liked him in Hannibal, there Dr Lecter was slicing away through his skull to have a fry up. That was "dark comedy" at its best
