It is just a symptom of how the system works, who among us would tell the boss we are looking for a better job until it is secured, and who among us wouldn’t want 2, 3 , 5 times our wage for doing the same job? Edwards stock is high at the moment and that can change in a few weeks in football. In a time when agents have a big finger in the pie capatilising on a bit of success he will be reminding Edwards nearly all managers get the sack eventually

Yes, ruthless game football. I even remember one club sacking their manager a few days before a play off final. Didn’t do them much good though, some bloke called Bogle scored a couple and they lost 3-1.
