Hurst seemed to hint on Thursday's presser that there might be a few changes for tomorrow so I'm going with
Crocombe
Cropper Pearson Waterfall Amos
Fox Holohan
Maguire-Drew Mcatee Clifton
Dieseruvwe
Bench: Smith, Efete, Taylor, Scannell, Abrahams

Seems a reasonable call, although I doubt he will break the McAtee/Taylor link. Expect Taylor to come off after 60 mins.

You have to feel for Manny a bit; he looks great whenever he comes on, but that McAtee Taylor link is so important, as you say

I think there will be some rotation but I think it will be largely unchanged. Pearson and Crookes might get a decent run out if we are winning comfortably.

I know Clifton is versatile but left wing and the bench seems a bit of a stretch even for him. I suppose if he came on for himself it could work 😀

Even though Jones looked to have stage fright for his home debut I think we should start with the same lineup. All of them deserve a start after the Stockport game.
I do think though he will rest two or three, may be give MacAtee, Taylor and Clifton a bit of bench warming.

Oops. I originally put him CM with Sousa on the left but then remembered Fox was fit. Replace one of the Clifton's with Sousa, you can pick which one seeing as you spotted my error!

I would have Fox in for Jones and the only other change purely as a precaution Cropper for Efete as we need him fit.

If they're all fit and recovered over Saturday and Sunday I'd make minimal changes, if any. Except maybe get Fox on if he's ready for a start. Id love to say rest him, him and him but in reality I don't know how each player is waking up today.

Thanks James, in that case we’ll have Sousa on the bench to come on after 60mins and terrorise their knackered defence

Only changes I'd make would be to start with two wingers and to bring someone into central midfield for Jones.
Whether that means Clifton moving central (I still find it awkward at times watching him "doing a job" out on the left) or bringing Fox into the starting eleven, I don't mind too much.
But start Scannell and JMD as the two wide men because if the home game against this lot is anything to go by, we're going to be facing a side sitting deep and being difficult to break down.

We have such a brilliant squad that I’m confident we will beat them with any line up. I trust Hurst to call it right.

With the Easter fixtures now having an extra day in between, I don't think there's the need for wholesale changes there possibly once was. I'd just bring JMD in for Jones and stick Clifton in the middle, but obviously the 'red zone' data could say anything!

Fox for Jones and Cropper for Efete, maybe JMD for Clifton, other than that we should go and win the game and use subs wisely!

I feel like weve stuck with the team before in the big game followed by game against smaller team and slipped up, im on the side of making 4 or 5 changes I think. Weve got enough to beat kings lynn with whatever squad we play, I think sharpness and energy will be the key, need to burst out the blocks not let it get to half time as 0-0

In terms of time between games, its really no different from a Saturday/Tuesday combination, so no need to make wholesale changes. Plus there is an extra day to recover before the next Saturday game.
So I agree with those that say we should put out our strongest side, which in my view includes JMD.

Yes - that where I am and that would include JMD to start instead of either Harry or Jones. Harry or Fox alongside Holohan. If we are cruising then empty the bench. Torquay will be a tough game on Saturday

When will managers start with their best available team and try to get a game won then make changes . Don't take chances like Pep did and regret it .

I expect to see Sousa fox and Cropper in.
Possibly Crookes
But as strong a team as possible, get the points on the board and if we can get too a point against Boreham wood/eastleigh where we csn rest players, lets do that then

Why would you play someone with no end product in a game where end product is essential? Sousa is the 5th option for a wide position now Wright is (allegedly) fit again.

Resting players is not an option at the moment, ensuring that we are in the play offs is. Once that is achieved then we can rest players.

Just stating what i think pal? I’d also say wright should be 5th choice as he’s been told he can start looking for a future away from the club

Now is not the best time to be swapping out players just to give those who haven't featured much a game. We should go with our best team and use subs when we are winning well.

I don’t see why we would change a winning team. Today is no different to playing Tuesday after a Saturday. We don’t have another game for 5 days and we haven’t played a midweek game in the last 3 weeks.
I would expect to see a couple of changes based on general fitness (I.e. data from the players GPS vests and whether Efete can do 2 games over 4 days) but not the wholesale changes predicted by the Telegraph bloke.
Tactically Hurst might go with 2 proper wingers to try and get at KLT and either rest Clifton or move him inside at the expense of Jones. Cropper could come in for Efete if Hurst doesn’t want to play him twice over 4 days or if there’s any issue relating to Stockport kicking him for 90 minutes on Friday. The only other one I could see is Mani D in for Taylor. But given we haven’t played a midweek game for 4 weeks and the next one isn’t for 3 weeks Hurst might not rest him.

Start with 2 wingers, add Cropper for Effete as his throw may come in handy, either Clifton or Fox in for Jones. I’d start Taylor but would like to see Mani get 30 minutes or so at least.
Either was it feels like for once we’ve got plenty to pick from at the right time.

Agree with this aslong as we're winning (regards giving Mani a longer run out)

One slightly unexpected advantage of our ever evolving squad this season is that we have a pretty fresh set of players. Having played 38 league games this season, only 3 players have made more than 30 starts - Waterfall (37), Clifton (33) and McAtee (31). Beyond that, only Taylor (30) and Efete (26) have started more than 25. The squad looks in great shape right now, and perhaps uncharacteristic of a Paul Hurst side we’re pretty hard to predict how we’re going to line-up. Really, it’s only the goalkeeper, the left-most three of the back four, and McAtee who you can be certain of starting and where they will line-up going into today’s game. You could maybe add Holohan to that list, but beyond the obvious challenge of trying to thwart McAtee we’re a tough side to scout right now. We’re in a great place at a great time, aren’t we?
