He has shown them so much loyalty over the past 10 years - could have left them loads of times. They are quite bad to watch and they were always gonna get flushed from the Premier League at some point but he got by on scraps, what did they expect? I can only assume this is a last-ditch attempt to get a bounce out of a new manager. If it works then fair enough I’ll hold my hands up and say I got it wrong, but I think they’re too far behind now with too few games left and they have just let the perfect man go for next season.

Constantly punching above their weight he has done a magnificent job over the years. New American owners knowing F.A. about football & expecting them to be up there challenging for a European place this season - have put the final nail in Burnley's coffin. Methinks they will rue their (considerable) investment in the Turf Moor club.

And when numerous people replied asking what division Stoke were in when they sacked Pulis and where they are now he argued that was irrelevant.
