Yeah, I'd go as far as saying that it's by no means a given that the Prem McAtee will have a better career than ours. Obviously, the City McAtee has made fantastic progress and being in their CL squad bodes well for him but a lot of youngsters hit a point at top clubs when they get loaned out/released and he'll potentially have to adapt to that. Meanwhile, his older brother is kicking about the lower leagues already on about 100+ appearances and is the star player in his division and will be playing at a higher level (hopefully with us) at some point within the next few seasons. Rises and declines of players can be fast and brutal concerning the latter.

Fully agree that it's easy to forget how young our McAtee is. It's also great to see how hungry he is and how much it means to him when he scores and/or we win.


I rate him but is our McAtee the star player in this division?
