Actress Anna Karen has tragically died in a house fire in Ilford at the age of 85.

Loved her role as Olive in the sitcom "On The Buses"

RIP

On the Buses used to be a favourite of mine when I was a kid..... something about their clippies that GCT didn't have

I'm not sure if it's common knowledge but I remember Anna Karen also being in a gents mag back in the day

Probably all part of the casting couch system that young actresses had to go through to get their career to take off

RIP Olive.... what a sad way to pass for someone who once only brightened up our lives

I can't really remember watching any of the series, but seen all the films years ago, my kinda sense of humor along with the Carry On films.  I'll see if I can find the On the Buses films tonight, watch them in order.
